Monthly Meetings

Auxiliary Corner:  

I would like to thank everyone who attended the ALA 100th anniversary party on November 9th. I saw faces that have not been to the Post in a while. I would like to invite them back to our meetings. Bob Stoodt brought a 100 year old WWII veteran to the party. The women enjoyed meeting him and listening to him talk.

The Dept. of PA Christmas Tour will start at Southwest Vets Hospital on Dec. 6 at 11:00 a.m. and continue on to all veteranís hospitals in PA. Please try to come to Southwest to meet the Department heads.

December 7th is the childrenís Christmas party. Please sign up by Dec. 1st. Children of members from age newborn to age 12 are welcome at the party. Sign up sheet is at the bar.

The ALA Christmas party is December 12th at Gianna Viaís at 6:30  p.m. See Vicki if you plan to attend.

The Christmas party at Southwest  Veterans Hospital is on December 26th. You are welcome to attend with us.

Calendar tickets must be turned in by December 26.

There is no ALA meeting in December.

The wife, mother, daughter, step-daughter, or grand-daughter of a member of the American Legion is eligible to join the Auxiliary.

Our auxiliary chapter to Post 712 can be very beneficial to the American Legion Post and we welcome new members.
