From the Desk of
This will be my last
article. I will be resigning from all my positions at the
Legion to devote more time to my family. My duties as caregiver
have increased, along with my duties at the Legion. However, my
philosophy has always been ‘Family Comes First’. Since I have
multiple positions and duties at the Legion, I hope to
gracefully document procedures and transfer those duties with
the least amount of disruption as possible.
I have thoroughly
enjoyed my time as Manager and Adjutant at the Legion. I often
said I was one of those idiots that loved my job. I also enjoyed
the previous 8 years that I volunteered to be a Quartermaster
and Adjutant at the Duquesne VFW. My focus has always been to
help and support our Veterans. I hope that I was able to
accomplish that along the way.
